Webinar | Brazil–Japan Relations at a Crossroads: Strategic Scenarios across the Atlantic and Indo-Pacific Regions

This webinar aims to explore the strategic potential of trilateral cooperation among Brazil, Japan, and India in the context of a rapidly evolving international order. As major democracies from Latin America and Asia, the three countries share an interest in strengthening multilateralism, reforming global governance institutions, and promoting stability across both the Atlantic and Indo-Pacific regions.

The discussion will examine how shifting global power dynamics, growing geopolitical fragmentation, and emerging security and economic challenges create both constraints and opportunities for enhanced trilateral engagement.

By bringing together Brazilian and Japanese scholars, the webinar seeks to assess the strategic relevance of Brazil–Japan–India dialogue and to identify possible pathways for strengthening coordination among these actors in support of a more stable, inclusive, and rules-based international order.
