Climate catastrophes such as floods, hurricanes, and forest fires have become increasingly frequent and severe in recent years, causing economic losses and human suffering. Brazil, a country with a diverse climate and geography, has experienced its share of climate catastrophes, devastatingly affecting its population and economy.

The event will bring together Dr. Franziska Arnold-Dwyer of Queen Mary University of London and experts in the field who will share their experiences and insights on how, and to what extent, insurance can provide financial protection against weather risks aggravated by climate change.
