The Latin American Workshop on Optimization and Control  (LAWOC 2026) Social Dinner will take place at Fogo de Chão Botafogo.

Located approximately 5–10 minutes by car from FGV EMAp, the restaurant offers a beautiful view of Guanabara Bay and Sugarloaf Mountain, providing an excellent setting for networking among conference participants.

Dinner fee: BRL 400.00 per person

The dinner fee covers a three-hour package, including:

Food

  • Full rodízio featuring 18 premium cuts of meat; 

  • Salad bar with more than 40 options; 

  • Traditional Brazilian side dishes served at the table; 

  • Appetizers, including cheese bread, crispy polenta, chicken hearts, and sliced sausage. 

Beverages

  • Water; Natural juices; Soft drinks; Heineken beer; Caipirinhas and caipiroskas prepared with Fogo de Chão cachaça or Smirnoff vodka (lemon and pineapple); One coffee or tea per participant. 

Desserts (one per participant)

  • Papaya cream; Mango cream; Pineapple cream; Strawberry cream; Brazilian flan (pudim); Chocolate petit gâteau; Seasonal fruit; Traditional baked coconut sweet (cocada de tabuleiro); Crème brûlée; Ice cream; Tres leches cake; Chocolate mousse.
