FGV’s Centre for Technology and Society and the Nucleus of E-commerce Studies continue the series of conversations on interoperability in digital markets, through a webinar hosting experts from jurisdictions that have taken concrete steps to open up mobile ecosystems. Speakers will present the promises and challenges of different approaches that have been taken to deal with restrictive practices in mobile ecosystems, illustrating the complementarity of interoperability and transparency remedies to promote genuine consumer while preserving the safety of the ecosystem. Participants will then comment on the path forward for Brazil in the light of recent bill 4675/25, which grants powers to the competition authority to intervene more swiftly to inject more competition with regard to systemically relevant economic agents.
