Artificial Intelligence Risks: Governance and Innovation

This multistakeholder event is organized in partnership with the Data & AI Governance Coalition of the UN Internet Governance Forum to convene global experts, policymakers, industry leaders, and civil society representatives to explore the dual-edged potential of artificial intelligence. Participants will examine critical risks, ranging from cybersecurity vulnerabilities, to bias amplification to safety dilemmas in autonomous systems, while charting pathways for responsible innovation through risk-based regulatory frameworks, international standards, and collaborative governance models. This timely dialogue underscores the imperative for balanced approaches that safeguard digital sovereignty, foster trustworthy AI deployment, and harness technological advancements for sustainable development.
