The Super Research in Finance (SuRF 2026) constitutes the inaugural edition of an in-person academic event aimed at fostering in-depth discussions in quantitative finance, with an emphasis on financial econometrics, financial engineering, mathematical finance, and computational finance. The event provides a unique opportunity for graduate students, early-career researchers, and professionals in the field to engage closely with leading international scholars.


The event, organized by the FGV School of Applied Mathematics (FGV EMAp) in partnership with the FGV Brazilian School of Economics and Finance (FGV EPGE), is designed as a strategic initiative to complement and expand the ecosystem of scientific events in finance.
